Research Notes

Profile seems to correspond to https://www.geni.com/people/Llyr-ab-Y-Ceiliog-Myngrudd/6000000000475054137 but there is disagreement as to the ancestry of Llyr.

http://www.ancientwalesstudies.org/id185.html lists a total of 8 alternate genealogies from Bartrum, and establishes that there were two men named Caradog Freichfras. one of whom was descended from a Meirchion, but it was Meirchion ap Gwrgan Frych ap Arthfael rather than Meirchion Gul.

This profile, as it currently is, has its foundation in an incorrect genealogy. Østenstad-1 17:03, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
